The RAA Wants You: Call for Nominations for RAA Leadership Positions

On behalf of the Rutgers Alumni Association Nominations Committee Co-Chairs Anwar Hussain and Anish Patel, we are pleased to announce that the RAA is seeking candidates to fill the following leadership positions for the terms commencing July 1, 2022:  

Officer openings include :

  • RAA Vice Presidents (one-year term, four positions)
  • RAA Secretary (one-year term, one position)
  • RAA Treasurer (one-year term, one position)
  • RAA Board Member-at-large (three-year term, nine positions)

 The closing date for submitting applications to  the RAA office is February 11, 2022.

  • RAA Vice Presidents (one-year term, four positions)
  • RAA Secretary (one-year term)
  • RAA Treasurer (one-year term)

In addition, there are also five openings for RAA Members at Large Directors.

Candidates may be self-nominated or nominated by another RAA member, as indicated on the form.  The closing date for submitting applications to  the RAA office is February 8, 2021. 

All interested Alumni are urged to apply! This year, there are two new considerations:

  • As per University policy, all Spring semester activities and meetings will be held remotely. Given this situation, we encourage all Alumni to consider applying, regardless of where they live, since travelling to New Brunswick campus meetings is no longer a requirement.
  • Interviews will be conducted for RAA President, all Vice President applicants and Secretary and Treasurer, via Zoom. Additional information will be provided prior to scheduling the Zoom sessions.
