Honor Rutgers Future. Spirit. Alumni. Spirit. Service.

We hold Rutgers close to our hearts. Fueled by fond memories and a belief in an even greater future, fellow alumni volunteer to build a better Rutgers. Some go above and beyond. At the same time, some students with a particularly long view, even help plan for the future. The Rutgers Alumni Association has honored these and many other efforts since our inception.

Join us in honoring Rutgers by celebrating those who lead that charge.
A few of those stories are below.

Rutgers Alumni Association Luis Largo

Luis Largo

RC, GSe 2007

Luis loves tailgating and cheering his Scarlet Knights from all corners of the stadium. But you’ll also find him organizing community service events. As a co-chair of the RAA Community Service Committee, Luis guides Alumni in volunteering. His committee organizes food collections for the Rutgers Student Food Pantry and service at Hillside Food Bank and Elijah’s Promise. From helping veterans attend Rutgers Football games to sponsoring less privileged families during the holidays with RAH and UCRNBAA, Luis serves others.

The Community Services committee that Luis chairs also organizes Rutgers in Your Backyard, bringing underprivileged junior school students and their parents to tour Rutgers and get to know about the financial and educational opportunities. He works tirelessly to serve the Rutgers Community, and as a Loyal Son of Rutgers he regularly strives to continue building a better Rutgers for tomorrow.
