Libraries
Bring your alumni ID to any circulation desk at any university library for a free borrower card and a Personal Identification Number (PIN). This card entitles alumni to borrow up to 25 books at a time from most Rutgers libraries. The loan period is four weeks and renewal is possible in-person or on-line. Continuing Professional Development
Alumni can choose from more than 400 courses, symposia and conferences offered at Cook College. These 1 to 3-day workshops focus on agricultural production, food science, nutrition, marine and coastal resources, and human and community resource development. Rutgers Gardens

Academy for Lifelong Learning
Non-competitive, non-credit semester-long courses on topics such as Medieval Spain, Cole Porter, and All That Jazz are open to alumni over age 50. Membership is $90 per semester, which includes participation in up to two courses. Classes are a full 90 minutes and are held Mondays through Wednesdays, mornings and afternoons at the facilities of the Reformed Church of Highland Park. Home Gardener's School
The Cook College Office of Continuing Professional Education, sponsors a full-day home gardeners school each fall and spring. Hands-on workshops and energetic speakers cover dozens of topics for beginning and expert gardeners. Alumni Association members receive a discount on the $37 tuition.
